Several options are available for sharing a link to a Compliance Dictionary definition:

Option 1—Query URL

http://www.compliancedictionary.com/search?q=<term> (where <term> is the search term for which you want to share the definition)
For example, to share the search results for the query "Authority Document," you would send this URL:
http://www.compliancedictionary.com/search?q=authority document

Option 2—UCF ID

http://www.compliancedictionary.com/ucfid/<1234567> (where <1234567> is the UCF ID for the search term for which you want to share the definition)
For example, to send a link to the definition for a term with the UCF ID "0005788," you would send this URL:
http://www.compliancedictionary.com/ucfid/0005788

Option 3—Definition

http://www.compliancedictionary.com/definition/<term> (where <term> is the search term)
For example, if you wanted to send a link to the definition for the term "control," you would send this URL:
http://www.compliancedictionary.com/definition/control
Note: With this option, some special characters (forward slash, back slash, percent sign, etc.) may not be supported as part of the URL. In this case, option 1 would be the better alternative.
